Choosing the Right Commercial Catering Equipment for Your Restaurant
Professional catering is not the same as to throw great parties, or even the same as running a restaurant. You need to think about some points, serving staff, health department regulations and logistics are among the most important. The last thing you want to think about whether you have the proper equipment. The second to last, what you do not want is that her all to a risk if you are catering before you are ready.
What kind of kitchen do you do?
Meals on the site, where you serve only one location, is very different from mobile catering. Indoor and outdoor catering have different needs, wedding caterers will do things differently from large event caterers, and high-quality parties are really different from luaus and pig roast.
* Your first consideration should be cold, especially with mobile and outdoor events. You must be able to keep all food at a reasonable, measurable temperature. If you are only in your cateringRestaurant or another fixed location is not that a big problem. For everything else, you must have installed the proper cooling in your catering van. For fixed location to catering, you need extra cooling at a pre-prepped foods to install.
* Your second consideration should drink to phase out the most likely article.
Do you have enough ice machine?
Are your ice and beverage vending machines mobile, if they have to?
What's your backup plan?
DoYou need extra cooling for your ice cream?
How about hot beverages like coffee, tea or hot chocolate - you have enough machines to make a reasonable amount?
* If you are mobile, you need plumbing served memory for dirty dishes, and you must also have a lot of extras on hand in case of damage or other problems. For a fixed-site caterer, this is not a problem.
* Buffet and sit-down and also have different requirements, and in some ways is harder Buffet Cateringabout the restaurant. With sit-downs, food level and the preparation is invisible to the guests.
If you are running a buffet, it is difficult to predict what a deep and how much space you need to run around the buffet. Be prepared to buy additional equipment, buffet, if you go this route, notably keeping pans to go before preparing food for your steam table.
* Depending on what you serve, you will need additional equipment. For example, pizza is always betterif designed in an oven for the pizza cooked, fried chicken is cooked in a pressure fryer to create faster and superior chicken, which was the pan fried. Baked goods will require a baking rack to an appropriate increase. Telegraphic style, your needs before your budget.
* In addition to all this, you need to think about all charges customers: trolley tables, bowls, plates and cutlery, furniture and accessories, tablecloths, napkins, and all the decorative Article.
Many of these items can be easily and quickly bought the restaurant and party supply stores. But you should consider buying or leasing your larger equipment online. The savings can be substantial, and you will be able to everything you require to find it.
